Sceptical Reasoning

In nonmonotonic / argumentation-based reasoning, the inference policy of accepting only those conclusions that hold in every preferred extension (or every stable extension, depending on the chosen semantics) of an Argumentation Framework. Equivalently: accept only what survives every coherent challenge. Always coincides with the Grounded Extension (the unique smallest complete extension) for grounded semantics. Risk-averse; gives a unique answer when one exists. Contrasts with Credulous Reasoning.
