Commitment Operations

The lifecycle operations on a Social Commitment in Singh’s ontology: create, discharge (satisfy), cancel (debtor withdraws), release (creditor frees the debtor), delegate (transfer the debtor role), and assign (transfer the creditor role). Because a commitment is a manipulable first-class object rather than a mental state, these public operations give agent interaction a verifiable, protocol-level semantics.
