Foundational vs Auxiliary Properties

In modular metatheory, foundational properties (e.g. preservation, progress) are those whose statement is fixed by the core language, whereas auxiliary properties are extension-specific lemmas added to support them. Separating the two lets language extensions be verified once and composed safely.
